Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in QA/testing roles, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong understanding of QA practices and principles, including both automation and manual testing.
  • Experience with Java-based automation and frontend automation testing technologies.
  • Proficiency in software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, and Jasmine.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a QA framework, establishing standard practices across the organization.
  • Manage and lead the QA team, including frontend and backend automation engineers as well as manual testers.
  • Develop, review, and execute test plans and test cases for software development projects.
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance QA efficiency, including AI-assisted test script generation, intelligent defect detection, and predictive quality analytics.
  • Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure software products meet design specifications and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Java and frontend technologies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure software design and code changes are testable, maintainable, and scalable.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards and procedures to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Continuously improve QA processes by identifying areas for optimization and recommending new tools, approaches, and methodologies.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide software development and testing standards.
  • Create comprehensive QA and project initiation plans, ensuring clear milestones, risk assessments, and resource requirements are defined before project execution.
