Star is looking for a Finance Operations Specialist to join the Finance Team.

Contract type: Gig contract.

Skills and experience you can bring to this role
Qualifications & experience:

  • Higher education with finance or audit specialization;
  • 2-5 years of working experience in corporate finance, billing, or audits;
  • Experienced user of MS Excel (pivots, macros, working with large database files);
  • Experience in an IT service company is an advantage;
  • Intermediate level of English;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Navision Dynamics or other internationally used ERP systems is an advantage;
  • Analytical mindset;
  • Accuracy, attentiveness to details and diligence;
  • Results-oriented person with a high level of self-discipline;
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines; and
  • Good communication skills and strong team player.

What Impact You Will Make

  • Communication with outsourced foreign accounting and payroll providers and coordinate preparation of the financial information
  • Preparation of company managerial reports, communication with report recipients (providing additional details. explanations, etc.);
  • Preparing financial forecasts and participating in preparing the annual and semi-annual planning;
  • Participation in the monthly billing and invoicing for services (billing sheets, expense reports, revenue forecasts, communication with project managers, compliance with service contracts/terms agreed with customers, issuing and distributing invoices, communication with foreign customers, etc.);
  • Cooperation directly with the finance team based in Ukraine and the US, communication with other department's stakeholders;
  • Other reporting tasks as per the department's needs.
