Assistant Operation Manager

Main Responsibilities

• Crewing Activities, Recruiting & Planning.
• To ensure feedback forms are printed and discussed with Operations Manager.
• Responsible to obtain Authentication records with Government for crew in due time.
• Responsible to the Flag authorities in order to get flag documents before sign on/expiration.
• To assist in Visa documentation procedures, MCV, etc.
• To ensure all crew sign on/off checklists, Company forms are filled/updated/filed as per procedures andrequirements.
• Keep control of the CMS system and update regularly CMS in regard to full crew data up to date or asdirected by Operations Manager.
• To generate reports as required by the Operations Manager to monitor performance of the crewingdepartment and crewing activities/statistic.
• Implement WSM AOP goals with regards to Customer interface in cooperation with OperationsManager.
• Other documentation / technical assistance as directed by Operations Manager when it necessary.
• Interact with other departments in WSM and WMS as per guidelines in the governing documentation.
• Contribute to the continuous growth and improvement of the value chain.
• Safe keep administration and some company documents as assigned by the Management

Accountabilities

• The position will be measured against:
• Customer satisfaction measured against targets set in the AOP
• Work process efficiency as targeted in the AOP
• Organizational climate in the Crewing department
• Cross area business cooperation as required by and targeted in strategy and AOP's
• Effectiveness of Marine Personnel services ( reported non-conformities)
• Pre-defined KPI's.

Qualifications

• High Education(or in progress)
• At least 1 (one) year experience in crewing business.
• Ability to lead and manage people, coach and empower subordinates.
• Team player, proactive, result-oriented, proper time-management.
• Can work under pressure, multi-tasking.
• Innovative.
• Good industrial relation within the local Maritime Industry.
• Ability to relate with all people at all levels in the organization on both local and international settings.
• Good communication skills.
