Junior Payroll Accountant
to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Junior Payroll Accountant, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation of payroll schedules for UA locations according to the established payroll calendar
• Execute UA payroll payment orders in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
• Coordinate payroll data submission by external payroll providers in other locations of the Group according to internal procedures and deadlines
• Post monthly payroll sheets in Microsoft Dynamics NAV for assigned locations of the Group according to internal monthly deadlines and internal reporting requirements
• Submit data, prepared by external providers, to Bank Accountant and Treasury
• Reconcile payroll related (salary and taxes) balance sheet accounts in Microsoft Dynamics NAV at month-end close
• Assist employees with payroll related queries
• Draft UA statutory and tax payroll returns and reports
• Retain record of all UA payroll documents
• Be partner to Payroll Manager and Head of Accounting Unit to identify and implement process improvements
• Assist FD team with gathering support for all audits

Requirements:

• Up to date knowledge on current internal and external procedures, laws and regulations, related to payroll calculation/reporting and relevant payroll taxes for Ukraine
• Thorough understanding of general accounting
• Basic knowledge of HR compliance
• Bachelor or University degree
• English language (Upper Intermediate/Advanced)
• The ability to handle accounting documents in foreign language
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Advanced)
• MS Office (Advanced)
• Self-organization / time management:
• The ability to prioritize and plan work effectively
• The ability to meet deadlines
• Initiative and independence / teamwork:
• Shares relevant information with other team members
• Has the ability to work independently when required
• Shares ideas and experience with other team members
