Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project that provides millions of global users with a one-stop solution for trading and investing. The platform is a Fintech leader focused on social trading, machine-learning-powered products, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and award-winning trading and investing experiences.

Responsibilities:

• The company is currently seeking an ambitious SRE Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing R&D team

• The role responsibilities include the development of features, tools, and observability infrastructure

• You will work collaboratively with professional developers, software architects, and SRE in a fast-paced agile environment

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in software development

• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming (C# or Java)

• In-depth understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Splunk, Data Dog, Grafana)

• Experience with Kubernetes, IaC, and configuration management tools

• Experience with Cloud providers: AWS, Azure (preferred), or GCP

• Excellent understanding of Linux operating systems and scripting languages (Python, Bash)

• Experience with integration tools (e.g. GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

• Experience in developing REST services and API automation for REST services

• Good understanding of middleware technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and MSMQ

Desirable:

• Experience working with mobile applications

• Practical experience in database applications (SQL, Oracle, MongoDB)

• Experience with Unit Testing frameworks (NUnit, MSTest, JUnit, TestNG)

• Knowledge of operating systems and networking

• Ability to work under pressure with a can-do attitude and solid sense for setting priorities

• A persistent focus on delivery in a high-velocity and high-availability environment

• Self-managed and flexible to changes

• Strong spoken and written English
