Teaching Partner

Pechersk School International, LLC is a leading international school in Kyiv, providing a high-quality education to students from diverse cultural backgrounds. We are currently seeking a Teaching Partner (асистент вчителя) to join our team and support our dedicated teaching staff in delivering exceptional educational experiences to our students.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level or higher

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with regular lessons and learning activities using different collaborative models

• Work with individual students or small groups under the direction and supervision of the classroom teacher using established criteria as outcomes

• Build and maintain successful relationships with students, treating them consistently, with respect and consideration and being concerned for their development as learners

• Substitute teachers and teaching partners as required

• Supervise the class when a teacher is not in the room, during transition around school, on school trips

• Assisting with clerical duties such as attendance, copies, resource collection, collecting field trip and other parent forms, and creating classroom and / or hallway bulletin boards

• Translate for the teacher as necessary

• Attending professional development when directed by school administration
