ABOUT YOUR NEW JOB:

The
Legal Counsel
in house provides a broad range of legal and compliance services, support and counselling, to several functions of the Company and the Ukrainian operations. The
Legal Counsel
is part of the Legal Team reporting to the BU Legal Director. The advice given and services provided are strategic, timely, proactive, practical, cost-effective and meet the highest legal, ethical and professional standards. This is an opportunity to grow professionally, improve processes and contribute to the company's effective legal function.

Our new team member needs to:

• Higher Law degree.
• Professional experience as a lawyer in a reputable law firm or as in-house counsel.
• Solid background \ knowledge at least in the following legal areas: Competition Law, Contract & Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Employment Law etc.
• Experience in the FMCG sector is a plus.
• Fluent English is a must.
• Positive communication style, excellent and effective communication skills, with ability to handle complex issues.
• Ability to navigate and be successful in a fast-paced work environment, taking initiative and autonomy, demonstrating ability to learn quickly.

You can be successful in this role if:

• You will partnering with internal clients (Commercial, Procurement, HR others) by considering immediate legal and compliance issues in a broad business context and identifying business purposes and objectives; proactively applies legal and compliance expertise to address the specific business activity; developing alternative legal solutions in order to enable the achievement of successful business outcomes.
• You will drafting and participating in negotiations of a wide range of contracts.
• You will representing Company's interests during inspections and investigations, legal support in obtaining necessary licenses and permits.
• You will collaborating effectively with members of the Legal Team and Group Legal Team to provide timely, business-oriented advice to internal commercial clients on legal and compliance issues.
• You have expert understanding of Ukrainian laws, regulations and policies in legal areas, as well as in Company policies and procedures, strong knowledge of laws, regulations and policies in commercial, antitrust, consumers legal areas, among others.

Corporate buses are provided from metro stations Chernihivska and Lybidska, and also, from the city of Brovary and the settlements of Velyka Dymerka, Bohdanivka, Kalyta.
