Strategy Manager
to lead impactful decisions and strategic initiatives within our Strategic Planning and Business Analysis team. This is a senior-level position with a focus on shaping long-term business strategies and maximizing the potential of Naftogaz's operations.

As a
Strategy Manager
, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development of sophisticated financial and economic models to assess and support strategic initiatives.
  • Formulating long-term projections for key operational and financial metrics, setting the course for business unit growth and performance.
  • Conducting in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and new business opportunities.
  • Utilizing advanced statistical and analytical techniques to forecast key performance indicators and industry developments.
  • Designing and delivering high-level reports, dashboards, and insights to measure the effectiveness of strategic plans.
  • Leading projects aimed at improving operational efficiency across Naftogaz Group's operations.
  • Preparing and presenting strategic reviews, analytical reports, and presentations for senior management and board-level discussions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of strategies across different business units.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or strategic planing within the energy or a related sector.
  • A degree in economics, finance, business administration, or a similar field. Advanced degrees (MBA, etc.) or certifications (CFA, CPA, etc.) are highly desirable.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, financial and economic analysis, corporate finance, market research, and business case development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with additional experience in Bloomberg, Thompson Reuters, Think Cell, and Power BI being highly advantageous.
  • A proven track record in leading strategic initiatives, problem-solving, and driving results in complex business environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive decisions at all levels.
