We are seeking a Data Engineer and DBA to join our DataOps Team to manage DataOps and DWH processes and the Databases
Requirements- Experience writing complex queries in SQL – 3 years
- Experience creating complex processes using Python – 2 years
- Knowledge in the programmatic advertising landscape – DSPs, SSPs, exchanges – significant advantage.
- Relevant degree or studies (Information Systems / Industrial Engineering /etc)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to translate business requirements into a technical solution
- Self-learner, responsible and independent
- English at a very high level and excellent communication skills
- Design and develop, and optimize data integration pipelines and data aggregations
- Work closely with business, data, product and tech teams
- Coding in Python, SQL and light BASH.
- Orchestration in Jenkins and Airflow
- End-to-end responsibility for processes – design, develop, test, monitor
- Share responsibilities of DBA, managing 2 large and complex Vertica Database clusters
- Monitoring and troubleshooting issues such as slowness in the cluster, heavy load, slow queries.
- Includes sharing on-call duties with team members in case of production incidents (on call some nights/weekends)
