Our client is a leading managed WordPress hosting platform, providing businesses with the speed, security, and reliability they need to thrive online. Their platform simplifies and automates many of the complex tasks associated with managing a WordPress website, allowing businesses to focus on creating great content and growing their audience.
IF YOU ARE- Good at understanding how client's product works and creating architecture proposals aligned with data governance best practices
- Experienced with SQL, Python, GCP, BigQuery, DBT, and Data Observability & Catalog tooling
- Deeply knowledgeable in data management and governance concepts
- Experienced with data lifecycle processes such as classification, retention, and deletion
- Organized and skilled in documentation practices
- Strong in fostering clear communication and productive teamwork
- Capable of working independently, handling ambiguity, and showing a strong bias for action
- Holding a bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Data Science, or a related field (would be a plus)
- Manage the organization's data assets throughout their lifecycle
- Run the day-to-day governance workflows including monitoring compliance with basic data governance practices and procedures
- Drive data's quality, visibility, retention, security and compliance capabilities across the organization
- Contribute to the Data Governance policies implementation under the guidance of a Data Governance lead or manager
- Support the classification, organization, and documentation of business data and metadata, promoting via a data catalog and glossary a better understanding of the data's meaning and context
- Devise and implement the Data Governance policies in collaboration with Legal, Security, and Data Engineering functions
