The Medtronic Digital Health organization is Medtronic's technology team focused on next generation Digital Health capabilities which deliver on the Medtronic mission and vision to deliver Insight Driven Care. This role will operate within the Digital Health team, focused on patient engagement, care coordination, AI, healthcare analytics & interoperability amongst other advanced technologies which enhance our product portfolio with new services, while improving clinical & patient experiences.

Technical Person, has expertise with writing requirements.

– 6-9 years of previous BA experience.

– Excellent written and spoken skills in English. Advanced level of English;

– Knowledge of SDLC;

– Analytical set of mind;

– Presentation skills;

– UML modeling experience;

– SW QA or Dev experience.

• Requirements Definition: Strong requirements definition skills, including defining and writing user stories, leading refinement with developers/testers, clear acceptance criteria
• Documentation: Experience managing quality documentation, maintaining versioned documentation, creating clear and

relevant application documentation:

– Functional Specifications

– API specifications

– FHIR / HL7v2 mappings and specifications

• Healthcare Data Exchange Standards: Demonstrated experience with FHIR / HL7v2
• Agile Software Development: Experience working on an Agile development team, specifically developing epics, stories, acceptance criteria and contributing to all traditional scrum ceremonies
• AWS Platform: Working experience with AWS native services, specifically serverless technologies

Nice to have:
– Previous Healthcare or Medical Device experience

– Experience working with Healthcare Data, including HL7v2, FHIR and DICOM

– FHIR and/or HL7 Certifications

– Building software classified as Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)

– Understanding of EHR technologies such as EPIC, Cerner, etc…

– Experience implementation enterprise grade cyber security & privacy by design into software products

– Experience working in Digital Health software

– Experience developing global applications

– Strong understanding of SDLC – Waterfall & Agile methodologies

– Software estimation

– Experience leading software development teams onshore and offshore

Job responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities
• Analyze, design, prioritize, and implement a set of IT products, platforms, and services
• Lead feature definition and prioritization for a software development team
• Write and refine user stories, including acceptance criteria and happy/sad paths
• Develop, maintain and update comprehensive documentation of Digital Health Interoperability services
• Document workflows, data mapping and API specs
• Leverage understanding of FHIR / HL7v2 to conduct data validation tasks to verify accuracy and completeness of dataflows
• Collaborate with software engineers and developers to design and implement Interoperability solutions
• Engage with business partners to understand their needs and ensure product delivery addresses key needs
• Collaborate with project managers to meet project commitments and timelines
• Provide guidance and input to developers to refine stories and ensure development meets requirements
• Work directly with QA engineers to answer questions and prove out requirements through testing
• Actively participate in sprint ceremonies, including stand ups, demos, and retrospectives
• Document standards, policies and best practices for delivery and consumption of platform / product capabilities
• Manage quality system documentation and ensure compliance with validation requirements
• Collaborate with teams across Global IT including GSO, Privacy, Cloud Platform Solutions, Regulatory, and Quality
