As a core of the customer's engineering team, we work on product initiatives and enhancements. We perform backend software development, help debug across various microservices and databases, design solutions, and solve problems with engineers within and outside the team.

IF YOU ARE
  • Experienced with 7+ years in Java development
  • Proficient in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Skilled in object-oriented programming using Java
  • Adept at data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis
  • Knowledgeable in working with relational databases
  • Familiar with service-oriented architecture and distributed systems
  • Proficient in applying software design patterns
  • Accustomed to using CI/CD pipelines in development workflows
  • A practitioner of Spring framework
  • Independent in resolving blockers with minimal guidance
  • Communicative with a collaborative approach to teamwork
  • Demonstrating English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level
  • Experienced with AWS and Terraform (would be a plus)
AND YOU WANT TO
  • Write clean, well-tested, and efficient code with Java 8 and higher using Spring, Hibernate, and Spring Boot
  • Build out differentiated app experiences
  • Release architecture
  • Integrate tests and tooling
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers across the organization to understand and tackle technical challenges specific to the Canadian market
  • Be deeply engaged in the full development lifecycle: designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and improving software
