Chief Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Financial, Tax, and Corporate Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (F1, F2, F3, F4, F5), iXBRL taxonomy, and income tax declaration;
• Prepare annual transfer pricing reports and documentation with support from a BIG4 firm;
• Monitor and control the timely preparation and filling of other tax and statistical reports (VAT, etc.).

Contract Management and Business Support

• Review and validate local and intercompany contracts, ensuring proper application of tax rules, best practices, and consultants' recommendations;
• Provide consultations to business functions and other departments on various accounting and tax issues;
• Support the business during contract negotiations with customers and suppliers;
• Facilitate various business activities (marketing events, incentive programs, etc.) from a tax perspective, in close cooperation with the legal department.

Coordination with banks

• Working capital management (maintenance optimum cash levels at country, maintenance liquidity generating max. rate of return on cash held at banks);
• Obtaining credit funds. Passing standard annual credit review processes;
• Controls & Compliance (Enabling compliance to Marketing Code & DoA in all business transactions).

Coordination of Tax Authority Audits and Auditor' Requests

• Provide answers and explanations to internal auditor requests (BIG4), tax authority letters, and queries from other state bodies;
• Correspond with regulatory authorities, ensuring timely responses to their letters and safeguarding the company's tax positions.

People Management

• Lead and manage the local team, continuous improving quality and cultivating strong business partnerships.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Higher education (Finance, Accountancy);
• CAP, DipIFR ACCA is preferable;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as Chief Accountant/Deputy Chief Accountant in international companies.

• Knowledge of languages: Ukrainian, English – fluent;
• Driver license B category.

Software Knowledge:

• SAP, 1C;
• MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
