Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Drybulk Vessel Operator located in Odesa, Budapest or Athens (remote possible). The Drybulk Vessel Operator will be responsible for daily vessel operations, coordinating with chartering and cargo teams, managing documents, monitoring voyage progress, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The operator will also oversee the effective execution of contracts, manage communication with ship owners, agents, and other stakeholders, and handle any issues that arise during the shipment process.

Qualifications

  • Experience in vessel operations, voyage planning, and cargo management
  • Knowledge of shipping regulations, maritime laws, and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in using maritime software and tools
  • Ability to work on-site (or off-site) in Odesa, Budpest or Athens
  • Experience in the dry bulk shipping sector is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, Logistics, or related field
