We are looking for Legal Consultant in Energy practice

Requirements:

• University degree in Law (completed studies) or student of the last years
• 1-2 years of professional experience at national or international law firms (is preferrable, but not a must)
• Expertise in energy projects is desirable but not mandatory
• Excellent theoretical knowledge of Corporate, Civil, Commercial law
• Desire to develop and grow professionally in the energy and natural resources sector
• Fluent English and Ukrainian
• Proper knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and organizational, team player, and strong communication skills
• Attentive to details, readiness to work hard
• Drafting conclusions clearly and concisely

Responsibilities:

• Prepare legal comments, memoranda, draft different contracts in Ukrainian and English
• Engage in legal due diligence, prepare legal due diligence reports
• Perform gap analysis, engage in development of Ukrainian legislation to implement EU acquis
• Prepare analysis and legal research on different legal issues, including regarding renewable energy and oil and gas matters
• Under senior colleague's supervision draft proposals and responses to clients' requests
• Help senior colleagues with internal risk management procedures for client engagements
• Prepare articles and energy legal alerts with a help of senior colleagues

Would be a plus if you:

• Work in a leading law firm and/or a Big 4 firm
• Have experience with conducting legal due diligence
• Understand basic principles of EU law and have experience working with EU acquis and law making
• Have knowledge of energy law
