Legal Advisor

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawyer to join our legal team working on a large-scale project in Ukraine. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Ukrainian law, with a focus on construction, contract, and corporate law. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the legal aspects of a high-profile infrastructure project. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, subcontracts, and other legal documents related to the construction project. 
• Conduct legal research on Ukrainian laws and regulations, particularly those relating to construction, land use, environmental compliance, and labor law. 
• Ensure that the project complies with all applicable Ukrainian laws and regulations, including permits, licenses, and environmental guidelines. 
• Assist in managing and resolving legal disputes
• Maintain organised records of legal documents, correspondence, and other relevant information. 
• Liaise with external legal advisors, contractors, government agencies, and other stakeholders as needed. 
• Provide general legal support to senior legal counsel and other members of the project team. 
• Assist in conducting due diligence on potential project partners, subcontractors, and suppliers. 
• Identify and mitigate potential legal risks associated with the project. 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized Ukrainian university. A master's degree in law or specialization in construction law is a plus. 
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a legal role, preferably with a focus on construction law, contract law, or corporate law. Must be registered with the Ukrainian National Bar Association for at least one year. 
• Fluent in Ukrainian, with B2/C1 proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
• Familiarity with Ukrainian construction laws, regulations, and industry standards. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
