Business Analyst Position

ScaleJet seeks a highly organized and professional Business Analyst to join their dynamic e-commerce company for a full-time remote job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data collection, analysis, process documentation, report maintenance, and updates.
• Process study, issue identification, and improvement proposal in the department/company. Implement process improvements.
• Reports creation for inventory management, marketing activities, pricing, logistics, and inventory costs optimization.
• Sales analysis and demand forecasting for new directions.
• Purchasing department key performance indicators monitoring.
• Presentation preparation using graphs and charts.

Skills:

Analytical thinking - working with large databases, requiring data collection, analysis, classification, problem diagnosis, and solution proposal.

Attention to detail.

Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets proficiency.

Retail e-commerce experience (Amazon, Shopify) is an advantage.

Communication skills.

Organizational skills - strategic task execution, proper prioritization, and time management.

English language proficiency at B2 level.

Tasks:

Study purchasing department business processes.

Create a new inventory management system in the purchasing department based on current reports, breaking it down into different files according to business logic and operational efficiency.

Analyze production time of goods and readiness (early or delayed production) to determine 'safety stock/target level' and reorder point.

Regularly analyze delivery times of goods from suppliers to prep centers and from prep centers to Amazon warehouses.

Analyze costs (advertising, marketing, logistics, additional costs per unit of product) to determine minimum profit and/or minimum number of units that need to be sold for this operational activity to be profitable.
