Senior Frontend Technical Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Frontend Technical Lead to spearhead our frontend development efforts. This individual will be responsible for defining and implementing frontend technology standards, architectural principles, and best practices across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of frontend technologies, including Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, and component-based architecture. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, and establish team standards.

This role requires a strong focus on collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, QA, and architecture leads, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of engineering efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement frontend technology standards and architectural principles.
  • Establish and maintain contribution rules, coding conventions, and pull request processes.
  • Standardize design system usage and versioning, ensuring consistency across applications.
  • Drive creation and adoption of reusable microflows and shared libraries.
  • Lead internal frontend community: facilitate knowledge sharing, organize workshops, and tech discussions.
  • Participate in recruitment processes: conduct technical interviews, onboarding, and assessments.
  • Conduct 1-on-1s, growth planning, and performance reviews with frontend engineers.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development, including 1-2 years in a tech lead or chapter lead role.
  • Strong experience with Angular (v12+) is a must.
  • Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, RxJS, component-based architecture, and scalable project structure.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Webpack, state management (NgRx, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (GitHub, Jira, Confluence).
