Job Title: Team Leader

Job Summary:

The team leader will play a significant role in how clients assess our capabilities. This position is responsible for setting and maintaining the highest standards of team presentation and capability to the client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the direction and management of the team
  • Ensure the team meets all operational and training standards
  • Deliver effective planning, booking, briefing, deployment, execution, recovery, debrief, and close-down of tasks
  • Maintain discipline and present a professional image at all times

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate competence in policies, SOPs, and personal skills
  • Display etiquette, discipline, and maintain standards in all areas
  • Remain informed about current threats and key issues
  • Conduct vehicle and dismounted contact drills
  • Maintain advanced first aid skills
  • Have competent navigation skills including map-reading, compass use, and GPS
  • Use vehicle-mounted and handheld communications systems

Management Responsibilities:

  • Conduct instruction in operational and medical team requirements
  • Ensure the team maintains a professional approach and presents a good image
  • Ensure the team conducts effective administration and reports

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting risk assessments and operational planning
  • Issue orders to team members and brief clients when required
  • Conduct venue and route recces and produce reports
  • Command the team and issue direction to clients
  • Provide emergency medical attention if required
  • Respond effectively to adverse incidents

Qualifications and Specialist Skills:

  • Valid SIA license or equivalent
  • Accredited medical qualification (EFAW as a minimum)
  • Full driving license (UK 'C' License or equivalent)
