Join UNICEF, a leading global organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and families. We are seeking a highly skilled Health Program Director to lead our health programs in Ukraine.
The successful candidate will have at least eight years of experience in public health planning and management, maternal and neonatal healthcare, child health, or health emergency response/humanitarian preparedness. A Master's degree in medicine, public health, pediatric health, family health, international health, health policy and management, epidemiology, or a related field is required.
The Health Program Director will be responsible for program development and planning, management, monitoring, and delivery of results. Key functions include providing technical support and guidance, developing strategic plans, preparing program recommendations, and ensuring alignment with UNICEF's Strategic Plans and national priorities.
In this role, you will also engage in advocacy, networking, and partnership building, collaborate with government officials, NGOs, and other partners, and participate in emergency preparedness initiatives. You will work closely with the team to develop innovative solutions, share knowledge, and ensure the integration of programs/projects with other UNICEF sectors.
