Sanitation Specialist

UNICEF is seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Specialist - Water, Sanitation and Hygiene to join our team in Kyiv. As a key member of our WASH department, you will play a vital role in improving sanitation facilities and promoting healthy hygiene practices for children and communities.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) to support our efforts in Ukraine. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing and Implementing WASH Programs

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of WASH principles, policies, and best practices. They will also possess excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Public Health, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in WASH programming, preferably in developing countries
• Excellent knowledge of UNICEF's WASH strategies and policies
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment

This is a full-time position based in Kyiv, Ukraine. The estimated salary range for this role is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
