We are seeking talented translators to join our team at the Smithsonian Institution on a one-month temporary engagement. As a leading research and education complex, we are committed to preserving and sharing cultural and historical materials.

This project requires 20 translators with native proficiency in Ukrainian to translate historical Ukrainian documents into English. The selected candidates will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, clarity, and historical context in all translations.

  • Translate historical Ukrainian documents into clear and concise English.
  • Collaborate with a team of translators to maintain consistency in the translation process.
  • Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Native fluency in Ukrainian.
  • Excellent English language skills, including writing and translation abilities.
  • Prior experience with translating historical documents or academic materials is an asset.
