C++ Engineer with ML
for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in
Ukraine
and the
EU
. Our client is designing a standardized and sustainable mobility system that leverages automation to improve urban transport efficiency.

Note:
Meetings with the client are held in the morning
PST
(evening hours in Europe).

Project description

The Perception Team Develops Intelligent Systems That Provide Situational Awareness And Ensure Safe, Reliable Operation Across The Network. Key Focus Areas

• Safety & Certification: Design and document safety-critical components aligned with industry and certification standards.
• System Integration: Implement perception and decision-making functionality on prototype platforms and validate real-world performance.
• Reliability & User Experience: Enhance system resilience, stability, and overall comfort of operation.
• Data & Testing: Manage large-scale data collection, testing, and demonstration activities to verify capabilities and support production deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with modern C++ software design and development.
• Knowledge of large multimodal datasets and their curation.
• Experience with ML.
• Understanding of ML model deployment in production-grade C++ software stacks.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Self-starter with experience developing a solution end-to-end, starting from vague requirements in a cross-team collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with robotics and/or autonomous driving platforms.
• Experience in the implementation of end-to-end tests and metrics workflows and dashboards.
• Experience in the implementation of analytics and insight tools for AD datasets.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with ML platforms (e.g., MLflow, SageMaker, Valohai, or equivalent).
• Experience in building 3D Visualization tools for LiDAR point cloud data.

Responsibilities

• Introduce and customize automation into data extraction and labeling pipelines.
• Design and improve metrics pipelines and create monitoring dashboards to track performance of perception systems in production.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure and ETL pipelines for training, validating, and deploying ML models.
• Build and support infrastructure for interfacing with third party labeling companies.
• Ensure reproducibility, traceability, and observability of perception workflows.
