Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, distributed server-side applications and microservices using Go.
  • Collaborate in an Agile Scrum team, defining and prioritizing backlog items while identifying risks and dependencies.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
  • Implement remote solutions facilitating peer-to-peer (P2P) communication.
  • Ensure cross-platform functionality and application compatibility.
  • Participate in application lifecycle management and optimize performance and reliability.
  • Establish and enhance security measures.
  • Improve code quality via unit tests and automation.
  • Work closely with product and design teams to understand end-user requirements.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor other developers.
  • Uphold best engineering practices and high standards for quality and craftsmanship.

Required Qualifications:

  • 56+ years as a Senior/Lead Backend Developer.
  • MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Strong experience with Go (Golang) is mandatory.
  • Proficient in Java technologies (optional but a plus).
  • Deep understanding of design patterns, multi-threaded programming, and internet technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, XML).
  • Experience with service-oriented architectures (web services, REST, JSON) and creating well-structured RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of Agile fundamentals and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with tracing/logging systems for production diagnostics.
  • Experience building large-scale, high-availability systems.
  • Knowledge of public cloud services (AWS, Azure, OVH).
  • Exposure to continuous delivery pipelines.
