What You'll Do

You'll play a critical role in designing, automating, and scaling a secure, multi-region cloud infrastructure that powers all FrogFort services.

Your daily work will involve deep technical ownership and end-to-end delivery across infrastructure, CI/CD, networking, and observability.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and maintain multi-region AWS infrastructure using Terraform Cloud and reusable Terraform modules (EKS, ALB, WAFv2, RDS, MSK, ElastiCache, Route53, CloudFront, IAM).
• Build and evolve GitLab CI/CD pipelines for multi-service monorepos with semantic-release, multi-arch Docker builds, vulnerability scans (Trivy/Snyk), and GitOps integration.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) with advanced add-ons — Istio Ambient Mesh, FluxCD, cert-manager, ExternalDNS, Karpenter, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Implement progressive delivery and automated deployment strategies using FluxCD and HelmRelease pipelines.
• Configure and maintain networking, security, and service mesh policies with Istio (waypoints, ztunnel, and multi-cluster routing).
• Develop and manage observability stacks (Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Grafana, Alertmanager) and Sentry integration for application monitoring.
• Automate provisioning, scaling, and failover of RDS Aurora, Redis Global Datastore, and Kafka clusters.
• Own CI/CD staging production workflows and environment promotion strategies.
• Drive infrastructure-as-code standardization, documentation, and peer reviews across teams.
• Lead incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and reliability improvements in production.

You're a Perfect Fit If You Have

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps / SRE / Infrastructure Engineer.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services at an architectural level (networking, IAM, security, scaling).
• Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Helm, and Istio.
• Production experience with Terraform and Terraform Cloud (workspaces, modules, policies, state management).
• Excellent understanding of CI/CD — particularly GitLab CI, FluxCD, or ArgoCD.
• Experience with Linux systems (Ubuntu, RHEL) and system-level debugging.
• Familiarity with Prometheus ecosystem (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager).
• Strong scripting ability with Bash and Python.
• Understanding of networking and security principles: VPC design, VPN, TLS, firewalls, DNS, load balancers, and proxies.
• Proven ability to design high-availability, secure, and self-healing environments.
• Analytical mindset and ownership attitude — capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced, high-impact team.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with multi-region / multi-account AWS setups.
• Familiarity with Terraform Enterprise / Cloud, OPA policies, or Terragrunt.
• Understanding of GitOps patterns and progressive delivery.
• Knowledge of Kafka (MSK), Debezium, Snowflake, or data pipeline automation.
• Experience in fintech, banking, or other high-load environments.
• Contributions to open-source DevOps / IaC / K8s tools.
