Senior QA Engineer

Description
QA Engineer will be responsible for validating the migration of the application, ensuring UI consistency, API functionality, and regression coverage. They will collaborate closely with frontend developers, verifying that the new implementation meets business requirements, performs efficiently across devices, and integrates seamlessly with backend APIs.

Requirements

• Experience testing applications using tools like Vue Test Utils and Jest.
• Experience with Postman or similar tools for basic API testing.
• Understanding of frontend performance testing, including API response times and rendering efficiency.
• Exposure to Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap in the context of UI validation.
• Basic understanding of cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
• Basic understanding of UI test automation concepts and tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium

Job responsibilities

• UI & Functional Testing – Ensure the migrated application behaves as expected, checking UI consistency, form validations, and responsiveness.
• Regression Testing – Cover core functionalities affected by the migration, ensuring no unexpected issues arise.
• API Testing (Basic Level) – Validate API interactions, especially for data fetching, filtering, and pagination.
• Cross-Browser & Cross-Device Testing – Ensure smooth functionality across major browsers and mobile devices.
• Test Documentation – Maintain test plans, cases, and bug reports in collaboration with the development team.
• Automation (Nice to Have) – If possible, introduce basic automation scripts for UI testing (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium).
