Our client is a veteran-owned, venture-backed, American public benefit corporation building world-class mobile software products for people who serve.

We are developing the first and only app suite built for the warfighter in mind, a one-stop shop for personnel and equipment accountability, file sharing, team comms, and scheduling.

IF YOU ARE
  • A seasoned software engineer with 5+ years of experience
  • Highly experienced with Backend or thrive in cross-functional collaboration
  • Confident working with Django or Flask, Python, and Celery
  • Possessing solid hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and RESTful APIs
  • Comfortable navigating AWS environments and understanding how to build scalable systems
  • Having a general understanding of front-end principles (Flutter or React)
  • Fascinated by solving real-world problems with elegant backend architecture and clean, maintainable code
AND YOU WANT TO
  • Design and develop backend services using Python (Django or Flask) and Celery, ensuring the code is clean, maintainable, and scalable
  • Build and optimise APIs and data flows, working closely with PostgreSQL and modern integration patterns
  • Integrate and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability
  • Improve existing architecture, identifying bottlenecks, and driving optimisation and refactoring initiatives
  • Work on a fast-growing product that impacts thousands of users, where your code directly contributes to business success
  • Work with a motivated, senior-level team that values ownership, autonomy, and clean engineering practices
  • Collaborate closely with product and mobile teams to deliver seamless experiences
