Job Description

As a Junior DevQA specialist, you will be responsible for creation and upholding of quality processes and associated artifacts that drive project quality and team efficiency by applying KPI driven approach and utilizing vast range of software tools and agile methodology approaches, not limited to testing the product

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Сonsistently track, maintain, and improve project quality for the assigned scope utilizing KPI driven approach
  • Manage variety of JIRA artifacts not limited to QC issues
  • Coordinate test closure activities in agile environment
  • Consistent proactive collaboration with project teams to define acceptance criteria, identify risks, and drive testing coverage for systems, features, and content
  • Operating both Production and QA tools stack

Main requirements: 

  • Middle or Senior Game Tester position
  • At least 9 months on a pre-released project (including Alpha/Beta & Master passed) or 2 years of overall experience
  • Solid experience applying relevant test design techniques
  • Understanding of communication plan concept and proactivity in executing it in a given project environment
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of build pipelines, test environments, and tech used to create game product
  • Upper Intermediate English with solid specialized vocabulary

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding or basic practical experience working in agile methodology framework
  • Understanding of game engine toolkit concept; practical experience with visual in-engine scripting is a plus
  • Solid proof of ability to manage different test mandates/projects in a "portfolio"
