Quality Control Inspector – Western Ukraine

Mebex is a company with 30 years of experience in the furniture industry. Based in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, we are engaged in international trade with furniture and furniture components.

We are currently looking for a 
Quality Controller

based in 
Western Ukraine

, to closely monitor the quality of the products supplied by our manufacturing partners in Bulgaria and neighbouring countries.

Main Responsibilities:

• Inspect
  the quality of goods from manufacturers in Ukraine;
• Record and report
  any non-conformities or issues identified during inspections;
• Analyse
  the causes of defective products and propose corrective measures;
• Participate in technological and functional 
  tests of products
   according to technical documentation;
• Review and support the production based on 
  technical documentation
  ;
• Gain excellent knowledge of the company's
  product portfolio
  ;
• Cooperate
  with the Procurement and Logistics departments;
• Maintain strong partner 
  relationships
  with Mebex's manufacturers.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in the furniture industry and/or manufacturing;
• Proficiency in written/oral English
• Ability to read and understand technical and commercial documentation;
• Completed higher or secondary technical education;
• Driving license and readiness to travel for weekly factory visits in Western Ukraine, either with your own vehicle or public transport;
• Knowledge of 3D graphic programs such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD;
• Ability to work with measuring and control instruments;
• Understanding of quality control methods and defect detection in furniture;
• Knowledge of standardization and metrology;
• Basic knowledge of quality management principles;
• Comfortable communicating and working remotely through online meetings (Google Meet, Zoom) and recording/sharing information using Gmail, Google Drive, and MS Office;
• Good communication and organizational skills;
• Critical and analytical thinking, ability to work with numbers and technical specifications;
• Experience with quality control software (e.g., Qarma);
• Familiarity with CRM and/or ERP systems;
