• Implement and maintain character animation systems including combat, locomotion, hit reactions, casting, dodges, and traversal;
• Work closely with combat and AI teams to ensure instantaneous and believable motion responses;
• Extend procedural animation (IK, ragdoll-to-animation blends, pose correction);
• Integrate motion-captured data and ensure smooth transitions between gameplay states;
• Profile and optimize animation logic for performance and memory budgets;
• Support animation pipeline automation and iteration speed.

• 3+ years of professional experience in Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) development;
• Solid knowledge of C++ and Blueprints with experience delivering polished gameplay features;
• Understanding of:
  • Animation Blueprints, Montages, State Machines;
  • Root motion and timing-critical combat sync'
  • Blendspaces and transition logic.
• Ability to profile, debug, and optimize animation runtimes;
• Collaborative skills with design and animation teams;
• Self-organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a distributed, cross-functional team.

Will be a plus:

• Control Rig, IK systems (FABRIK/CCD/Two-Bone);
• Motion matching or procedural locomotion;
• Animation replication for multiplayer;
• Tools development to improve animator workflows.
