About the Role

We're seeking an experienced
Golang Developer
to join a
remote-first engineering team
at a global communications company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a

You'll work alongside a talented international team to design and deliver
scalable backend systems

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain
  core backend services and APIs
  in Go (≈70% of your time).
• Contribute to frontend development using
  
  (≈30% of your time, with training provided).
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to move ideas from concept to production.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and maintainability of applications.
• Work with
  SQL and NoSQL databases
  , ensuring robust data models and optimized performance.
• Take ownership of your work while contributing to a
  collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of professional, hands-on
  Golang development experience
  .
• Proficiency in
  SQL and NoSQL databases
  (schema design, optimization, performance tuning).
• Based in a
  timezone between GMT-4 and GMT+4
  for effective collaboration.
• Strong communication and self-management skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience building or maintaining
  high-load distributed systems

• Familiarity with
  messaging systems
