We're looking for a skilled 
Full-Stack Developer
 (Python + ) with strong technical expertise and excellent English communication skills.

You'll be part of a team working on a global insurtech project that leverages AI-driven analytics to help insurers make faster, smarter, and fairer decisions.

Work mode:
 full-time employee.

We are open to considering candidates for remote collaboration who are currently based in Europe, including those from Ukraine.

Important note about working hours:

Our client is based in the San Francisco Bay Area (UTC—07:00, Pacific Time).

To ensure effective communication and collaboration, we expect at least 2–3 hours of daily overlap with the client's working hours — the more, the better.

For candidates based in Ukraine, the expected working schedule is from 12:00 to 21:00 or 13:00 to 22:00 (EEST)
, with some flexibility depending on your preferences.

We're flexible as long as there's sufficient overlap with the client's team.

The client is an insurtech company helping insurers make faster, smarter, and fairer decisions across the entire insurance lifecycle. Its AI-powered decision engine transforms raw, fragmented data into actionable insights — enabling insurers to respond quickly, reduce costly errors, and serve policyholders with confidence.

Industry:
Automotive (US and UK-based company).

Current team:
You'll work with the CTO/small dev team on the client side.

Required Skills & Experience:

• English proficiency of 
  at least B2
   (direct work with CTO/small dev team on client side)
• 5+ years
   of experience in software development.
• 4+ years
   of commercial experience with 
  Python
  .
• Experience with 
  FastAPI
   and 
  pytest
  .
• 2+ years
   of commercial experience with 
  
  .
• Solid understanding of 
  RESTful API
   development and integration.
• Expertise in 
  relational databases,
  particularly
  PostgreSQL
  (schema design, query optimization).
• Proven experience with 
  AWS
   services and infrastructure (
  EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.)
  .
• Comfortable with 
  version control tools
  like
  Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker).
• Strong proficiency in
  cloud-native or microservices architecture.

Optional skills:

• Artificial Intelligence — 
  AI Agents, Embeddings, automation platforms (n8n/
  
  ).
• Solid experience in 
  AI Prompt Engineering.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
