Senior Mobile Platform Android Engineer

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Mobile Platform Android Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:

As a Senior Mobile Platform Android Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. With almost 100 million active users across 25 countries, they're a global food tech company. As a recently formed team, they have many opportunities and ideas for sharing value back to the customers within their continuously expanding platform. They're looking for talented and trusted engineers to help them impress their customers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new features or modules with great quality and own them, following software engineering best practices and principles
• Efficiently use development toolset, follow code standards and team-agreed rules
• Provide robust test coverage both unit and integration for new features
• Investigate and fix application bugs
• Track errors/performance
• Provide technical documentation
• Work closely with Product Owner/Manager, Backend team and UX designers to create clear technical requirements for new features

Requirements:

• A collaborative team player with a proactive, flexible, and detail-oriented approach to your work
• Experience developing Android Apps
• You are knowledgeable on Kotlin, Integration and unit testing
• Integration with server-side APIs in Microservices architecture
• Experienced with Android architecture (multi modules, DI, MVVM)
• You have understanding of developing software in isolated and reusable components
• You have an understanding of code design for efficiency and readability
• You have knowledge and experience of experimentation and A/B testing
• Experience with CI, CD systems 

Desirable:

• Have a good sense of UI, UX
