About the Role

We're looking for a Backend Developer (Mid–Senior Level) who thrives in fast, high-responsibility environments. You'll architect and build the systems powering our global commerce, data, and personalization engines — products used by millions and driving hundreds of millions in revenue.

You will work closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to bring engaging and user-friendly e-commerce solutions to life.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and scale backend systems and APIs supporting e-commerce, data, and personalization at global scale.
• Work hands-on with Magento 2, owning integrations and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs — clean, reliable, and fast.
• Optimize data flow and architecture across PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams to deliver high-quality, production-grade features fast.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and performance monitoring.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve complex problems under pressure — fast and effectively.
• Push for engineering excellence — no shortcuts, no compromises, just results.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend development experience, including production-grade systems at scale.
• Strong hands-on experience with Magento 2 — custom modules, API integration, performance tuning.
• Proven ability to design and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Git, Agile workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong English communication skills — written and spoken (Upper-intermediate level).
• A builder's mindset — you take ownership, adapt fast, and deliver.

Will be a plus

• AWS expertise — Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, CloudWatch, and more.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
• Experience with microservices, serverless, or event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on with message queues and async processing.
• CI/CD automation experience.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and scalable deployment workflows.
