What You'll Do
  • Support promo & CRM creatives end-to-end (with guidance): campaign banners, email headers/layouts, hero images, static ads, and in-product promo blocks.
  • Create and adapt brand assets: simple icons, badges, gamification elements, social/affiliate kits, and basic visual guidelines.
  • Work inside and extend the design system: use existing tokens, spacing, grids, and typography; build new variants from ready components and keep files tidy.
  • Product UI work (initially ~10–20%, with room to grow):
    • Assemble new features / mini-interfaces / screens (e.g., bonus widgets, VIP blocks, leaderboards, payments visuals) from existing components.
    • Help with redesigns & product improvements to elevate clarity, consistency, and visual quality across existing flows (under Senior review).
  • Localization packs: prepare clean asset variants (primarily EN; CA/DE when needed) with disciplined naming/exports (SVG, PNG/WebP, 1x/2x).
  • Production handover: export/optimize assets, add concise specs, and sanity-check visuals after deploy with the team.
  • AI-assisted workflows: you'll actively use AI generation to support production work: generate specific objects and element sets for a task (characters, objects, backgrounds, details), get usable angles/variations, select the best results, and then break them down into layers and turn them into clean components and compositions in Figma. No "raw AI dumps" — you are responsible for the final visual quality and composition.
Workload reality: ~80–90% graphic/promo/email production; ~10–20% product UI (new screens & improvements), with potential to grow the UI share over time.
Must-Have:
  • 1+ year of experience in graphic / web / UI design (commercial, freelance, agency, or strong course projects) or a portfolio that clearly shows you can handle real tasks.
  • Confident Figma user: auto-layout, components/variants, basic libraries, pixel-perfect exports for web and mobile.
  • Solid visual fundamentals: layout, hierarchy, color, typography, grids, spacing, mobile-first/responsive mindset.
  • Production discipline: tidy files, clear naming, consistent export specs, and clean localization variants.
  • Advanced AI-assisted graphics skills: you know how to write prompts to get the right objects/scenes/styles; you can generate sets of elements, choose the best variations, refine them when needed (in-/out-painting, upscaling, etc.), and turn these outputs into clear, on-brand compositions and components in Figma.
  • Comfort with task managers: Notion/Jira/Asana or similar (we are Notion-first and will onboard you).
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with raster/vector tools (Photoshop, Illustrator or similar) for occasional illustration clean-up and asset polish.
  • English sufficient to read briefs, labels, and comments (not a hard requirement; specs are provided clearly).
  • Any experience with UI components, design systems, or building interfaces from a shared library.

  • Structured: tidy files, reproducible variants, clear priorities.
  • Curious: you don't just make things "prettier" — you ask why and look for better options.
  • Hungry to grow in UI/UX: you want to move from "mostly banners" to serious product work step by step.
Portfolio & Design Test (Mandatory)
  • Portfolio required (real or close-to-real projects). Include email/promo examples and at least one UI screen (can be from a course or pet project) showing components/states.
  • Design test required: a short, time-boxed task — 1 brand-aligned UI screen + 1 promo unit (static banner or email header).
  • We assess clarity, consistency, and production-readiness (not just Dribbble shots).
