Our client is a leading European B2B platform for on-the-road payments and solutions.

Our dynamic cooperation is aimed at reaching long-term success and technology excellence. That's why we're hiring top-tier engineers who will contribute towards an efficient and sustainable future of mobility. Developing a routing service using road data and EV station maps to optimize journeys across Europe – that's what you're going to deal with in our ambitious and passionate tech team.

What you will do

  • Working in an innovative and fast growing environment as strong business communicator
  • Developing and maintaining a scalable, cloud-native data landscape by laying a new foundation for gaining insights and business value from data at DKV
  • Working together with the team and business partners to develop data products using an agile approach
  • Creating products that allow us to address mission critical business challenges (development of data pipelines, topics in the area of product, reporting & analytics)
  • Breaking new ground: You regularly optimize solutions to improve performance, quality and costs.

What you need for this

  • 3+ years of experience (BI Engineer / Data Engineer) with a focus on developing cloud-based architectures and products (preferably using the Microsoft Azure/Azure Data Factory)
  • Must have:
  • Proven knowledge of Python and SQL in multiple positions/projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • You are a proactive person.
  • Nice to have:
  • You are experienced in working with DWH Snowflake, DBT.
  • Have experience working with Kafka and Databricks.
  • It is very important to also work in a scaling environment, i.e. at a comparable or larger company.
  • IaaC: You use Terraform to describe and maintain the infrastructure required for your solutions
  • IT-Security is fundamental in your design decisions
  • You have very good analytical and project management skills
  • You can easily "translate" your results into self-explaining presentations for your business partners

    Higher Education:
  • A degree in the fields of (business) mathematics, computer science, economics or similar
