Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Atlassian Engineer. The Atlassian Engineer will be responsible for configuring, managing, and optimizing Atlassian tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket to streamline workflows and enhance team collaboration. Responsibilities include developing custom workflows, integrating Atlassian tools with other platforms, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and ensuring optimal system performance. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project management and automation needs while ensuring adherence to best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in configuring and administering Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
• Experience in creating and customizing workflows, dashboards, filters, and reports
• Knowledge of API integrations and scripting using tools like REST API, Groovy, or Java for automation
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot system and technical issues effectively
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in remote, cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus
• Experience with cloud-based solutions or ITSM frameworks is a bonus
