Who we are looking for

Devart is looking for a detail-oriented Markup Developer for Skyvia who can transform design concepts into pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible web pages and user interfaces. Your work will bridge the gap between design and development, ensuring a smooth user experience.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about clean, semantic HTML/CSS, who stays current with front-end trends, values accessibility, and wants to make a real impact on the quality of digital products.

The impact you will make

• Ensure web pages are pixel-perfect, fully responsive, and functional across all browsers and devices.
• Follow and implement accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA).
• Optimize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for performance and maintainability.
• Build, implement, and maintain design systems and component libraries.
• Use Git or similar tools for version control.
• Develop modular, reusable, and scalable front-end components.
• Select appropriate tools, workflows, and technologies for the team.
• Continuously maintain and evolve the design system.
• Collaborate closely with designers, developers, product managers, and marketers.

Skills we are looking for

• 3+ years of experience as a Markup Developer.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS).
• Solid understanding of responsive design and frameworks such as Bootstrap or Tailwind.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA roles).
• Basic JavaScript skills, including DOM manipulation.
• Ability to optimize front-end performance.
• Skilled in writing clean, modular, and reusable code.
• Knowledge of CSS architecture methodologies (BEM, OOCSS, SMACSS).

• Hands-on experience with CMS theming (e.g., WordPress, Umbraco).
