We are seeking a proactive
Senior Data Analyst
to act as our Competitive Intelligence & Industry Tracking Analyst in the Aesthetics medicine space, with focus on Facial Injectables market. The role covers systematic monitoring of competitor websites, news portals, and search engines, as well as collection and analysis of earnings or news from both public and private players. You will maintain and enhance a quarterly industry tracker (currently in Excel), covering revenues performances and P&L analysis, document key trends and competitor strategies, and build a digital research library to be uploaded into our AI ecosystem. The job includes setting up rapid alert systems (similar to Google Alerts) for competitor and industry news, regular reporting, supporting the team with simple analysis using our PowerBI dashboard-based, presentation preparation, and potentially other project management tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor competitor websites, news portals, and search engines for relevant updates.
  • Extract and summarize earnings/news from public and private companies active in facial injectables.
  • Maintain and improve the quarterly Excel-based industry tracker; suggest systematic alternatives if appropriate.
  • Analyze and report on competitor strategies, product/geographic expansion, and market trends.
  • Organize all collected intelligence into a document library for future AI ingestion.
  • Set up and continually refine proactive news alert systems to ensure rapid notification of important developments, to be filtered and forwarded if relevant.
  • Provide quarterly structured updates, monthly bulletins as well as ad hoc real-time alerts when relevant news breaks or upon request.
  • Report weekly to the reporting manager.
  • While main responsibility will be focused on Competitive Intelligence Research, the individual will also support preparation of presentations on several topics, perform simple analyses using existing PowerBI dashboards and other analytical tools as well as offer flexible project management support for specific projects as needed.
  • Proactively suggest and implement improvements for systematic intelligence gathering and storage, optimizing processes for efficiency and clarity.

Requirements:

  • 4-5+ years of experience in data analysis
  • Demonstrable experience in competitive intelligence or market research, ideally within pharma/aesthetics/medical devices.
  • Strong skills in Excel and experience with PowerBI.
  • Ability to synthesize both quantitative and qualitative information from diverse sources and extract original insights.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and proactive; able to work independently while reporting to a senior leader.
  • Strong organization accuracy and attention to details.
