What to Expect?

This is a remote, project-driven role where you'll get the freedom to solve real-world robotics challenges while working with a passionate, international team. We expect around 40 hours per week, with occasional visits to the Netherlands. Starting compensation: €1,700/month (with growth potential as we scale).

What You'll Be Working On

  • Design, train, and evaluate
    deep learning models
    in PyTorch for tasks such as object detection, segmentation, regression, and keypoint tracking.
  • Work with
    state-of-the-art architectures
    (YOLO, Mask R-CNN, UNet, transformers) and tailor them to our agricultural use cases.
  • Optimize models for
    embedded deployment
    using TensorRT, ONNX, and hardware accelerators.
  • Build efficient
    training and inference pipelines
    , focusing on speed, accuracy, and robustness.
  • Manage datasets, design
    preprocessing/augmentation strategies
    , and conduct experiments to boost model performance.
  • Collaborate with the robotics and software teams to
    integrate models into real-time robotic control
    .
  • Track metrics and
    iterate on performance
    to improve reliability in real-world field conditions.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's in
    Computer Science, AI, Robotics
    , or related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    PyTorch
    and deep learning model development.
  • Solid background in
    computer vision
    : detection, segmentation, regression, keypoint estimation.
  • Experience with
    TensorRT, ONNX
    , or similar optimization frameworks.
  • Familiarity with
    embedded/edge AI hardware
    (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, GPUs, or similar).
  • Strong coding skills in
    Python
    ; C++ is a plus.
  • Understanding of
    neural network architecture design
    and training best practices.
  • Ability to work in a
    fast-paced R&D environment
    and collaborate across AI, robotics, and hardware teams.
