Description
We are a cross-functional international team collaborating across the globe on a major insurance product with integrated e-billing functionality.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, automating, and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate has strong experience with modern infrastructure-as-code tools, cloud-native technologies, and a passion for scalability, security, and performance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles
• Proficient in Terraform and Puppet for infrastructure automation
• Solid experience in GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux)
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Expertise in security best practices for infrastructure, applications, and pipelines, including vulnerability management, encryption, and compliance frameworks
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems, identify bottlenecks, and provide robust solutions for infrastructure and application performance.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Experience with microservices and the integration of DevOps principles with modern architectures
• Understanding of performance tuning, scalability, and resiliency strategies for large, distributed systems.
• Knowledge of container security best practices
• Experience working in highly regulated environments

Job responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Puppet
• Own and improve GitOps-based CI/CD pipelines for streamlined, secure, and automated deployments
• Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters (on-prem and/or in the cloud) for various development and production workloads
• Collaborate with developers and SREs to ensure reliable release cycles and observability
• Ensure high system availability, security, and performance through automated monitoring and alerting
• Participate in architectural decisions regarding infrastructure and cloud strategy
• Mentor junior team members and share DevOps best practices
