We invite a BI/Data Engineer to join the VeliHorizon team within Turnkey.

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain and further develop the corporate DWH
  • Monitor and optimise PostgreSQL and ClickHouse performance
  • Develop and support data pipelines in Airflow (Python + SQL)
  • Set up and maintain logical replication between systems
  • Build and maintain reports in Tableau and Metabase
  • Contribute to client reporting solutions on BigQuery

Skills and experience you will need:

  • At least 4 years of proven experience in a Data Engineer role
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL as a DWH (query optimisation, indexing, partitioning)
  • Practical experience with ClickHouse
  • Strong SQL skills (Postgres, BigQuery, analytical functions)
  • Experience designing and supporting ETL processes, knowledge of Airflow
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Metabase, or similar)
  • Solid Python skills for developing ETL processes and Airflow DAGs
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code (error handling, logging, structure)
  • Experience with database libraries (psycopg2/sqlalchemy, clickhouse-driver, etc.)
  • Spoken English at B1–B2+ level

Would be a plus:

  • Experience with BigQuery
  • Familiarity with Superset
  • Experience writing unit tests for data pipelines
