About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Power Apps (Canvas App) Developer to support one of our projects for a small construction company. The app was originally developed a few months ago, and the customer now requires new features, structural updates, and ongoing support.

This is a part-time, project-based role with the potential for long-term collaboration. The initial scope will involve a short assessment phase, followed by implementing changes and providing support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess the existing Canvas App and its underlying data structure
  • Update and optimize the data model to support new features
  • Implement changes based on customer feedback
  • Take over ongoing development and support from the original developer
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transition and continuous improvements
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements as needed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience developing and maintaining Power Apps (Canvas Apps)
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other data sources used in Power Apps
  • Experience in data modeling and app optimization
  • Ability to take ownership of existing solutions and transition smoothly from another developer
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Power Automate (Flow) integrations
  • Familiarity with the construction or field service industry apps
  • Previous experience in supporting and enhancing existing solutions rather than building from scratch
