Head of Sub-Delegation Operations Manager

Schweizerisches Rotes Kreuz is seeking a highly experienced professional to lead its operations in Central and Southern Ukraine. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing SRC's support to regional Red Cross branches, ensuring performance and accountability for positive outcomes at all levels.

• Provide overall management and coordination support to the Ukrainian Red Cross Society in central and southern Ukraine.
• Ensure SRC's strategic vision and planning in the region is realised.
• Facilitate participatory planning, implementation, and monitoring processes with the URCS branches and counterparts.
• Lead SRC efforts vis-à-vis national society development at the concerned URCS branches.
• Manage the SRC project team and coach and empower involved team members and counterparts.

• University degree in management, international cooperation, social sciences, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience, including 5 years of experience in leading complex projects, teams, and partnerships.
• Work experience in the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement.
• Experience with localization and capacity building of national/local partners.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of Ukrainian and/or Russian language(s) is a strong asset.

• 12-month contract with the option of extension.
