Job Description

We are seeking an experienced WASH Program Manager to join our team in Ukraine. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of WASH projects in eastern Ukraine. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of effective and efficient programs that meet the needs of our beneficiaries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage WASH projects to achieve objectives within specified timelines and budgets.
  • Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and partners to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Supervise a team of WASH staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated program approaches and effective resource allocation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A university degree in a technical field, preferably related to water and sanitation.
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in WASH program management or a relevant field.
  • Proven supervisory management skills, with experience in team leadership and personnel development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Familiarity with donor regulations and reporting requirements, particularly in relation to WASH programs.
