Senior Software Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to develop an alert and event management system that integrates with various monitoring tools, including Zabbix, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Amazon CloudWatch, Nagios, and VictoriaMetrics. The system should collect, normalize, and present alerts/events through a unified interface.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement integrations with monitoring systems via their respective APIs.
• Lead and drive development efforts on Front-end/Back-end (Front-end: React or Angular, Back-end: Python or Java).
• Develop microservices to handle data collection, processing, and storage.
• Normalize and standardize alert/event data from diverse sources.
• Ensure the system is scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Develop a user interface for viewing and managing alerts/events.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience developing in Java or Python.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and best practices.
• Familiarity with at least one monitoring tool and its APIs.
• Ability to develop web interfaces using FE frameworks.
• Working with DB SQL/NoSQL.
• CI/CD and DevOps basic knowledge: containerization (Docker/k8s), working with cloud environments (AWS).
• Experience implementing secure identity protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, and vibecoding.
• Background in computer science or similar quantitative field.
• Developed apps and microservices from scratch.
• Full-stack development experience.
• Experience in developing alert management or monitoring systems.
• Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English.
